1440p or 1080p on RTX 3060/4050

I'm still undecided between 1080p and 1440p for my next laptop purchase. I haven't tried 1440p yet, but I've heard that once you've tried it you won't want to go back to 1080p so I'm really curious about it. I know the frames will have significant difference depending on the game.

However, my main concern is will I ever encounter input lags on 1440p with an RTX 3060 or 4050 w/ 6gbVram or is it still the same with 1080p? I'll mainly be playing Marvel Rivals, Genshin, and possibly Monster Hunter Wilds.
