from having a full time job to full time student
hi! i just want to lay down my thoughts on my current situation before entering law school (and ask for your opinion as well)
i graduated last june 2024 and worked right away as an HR associate. i said to myself na tignan ko muna feeling mag work and kung gusto ko pa rin mag law school at this time. after 4 months of working, i find myself everyday dreading HR work, and i feel no sense of fulfillment with this kind of job. therefore, mas lalo lumakas yung calling ko na mag law school. i dont want to prolong my agony anymore on doing something that i hate doing, which is why im going to enroll in law school this 2025.
my parents are supportive and will fund my tuition daw (if state university ako papasok) if mag full time student ako. but my problem is, i am debating whether it is worth it to be jobless and become a full time student. that means i will have to start from scratch again, and mawawalan ako ng financial freedom. also, nakakahiya rin sa parents ko dahil manghihingi na naman ako from them ng money.
so tldr: my concern is, is it worth it to leave a full time job (considering na ayaw ko yung line of work ko) for law school (na gusto ko gawin), even if i will not have my own money? im thinking also of being a working student but the problem is ayaw ko na talaga sa HR.
