So disappointed :( (sort of PSA)

I bought this new w tags dia belt from jp mercari back in august for a ridiculous amount of money, it didn’t get to me until December because of customs. I was so so excited bc HELLO?! Look how beautiful!! Turns out it is completely falling apart :( the listing never showed any hints of this, I know this is always a possibility with fake leather but I felt safe to buy after seeing so many gals with perfect dia belts they had just bought that are probably the same age of this one. I don’t know if I can fix this ;^; i wanted this belt for so long so i was okay with paying a good amount for it, but now i wish i could go back because this isn’t wearable ://

SIGHHH idk if i just like. Peel off all the pleather?? Take it to a leather smith to see if they can do something with it?? No idea, any suggestions would be appreciated <3 added a pic of me wearing it so you can see how perfect it would be if it just. You know. Wasn’t falling apart 😭💔
