A Quiet Place: The Road Ahead

For those of you that have or are playing this game how do you feel about it? I got it because of the similarity to AI. I haven’t completed it yet but I think I’m almost finished so my take is the game is okay. I personally don’t think the game has any replay factor because of the following reasons: 1. I don’t find the game very scary/thrilling. The death angels aren’t very scary and there’s no thrill factor like in AI. 2. The game is quite annoying at times. The death angels often gets stuck in places making it hard to move because it’s in the way or it will constantly patrol where I need to go without giving me an opportunity to actually get there. Also when it gets stuck if I make to much noise according to the game while the creature is stuck then I can’t do anything because the game doesn’t allow me to interact with stuff I guess because the game is assuming I should be going through the death animations or something. 3. The death animations are quite boring. I find myself often skipping them because that black loading screen in between breaks what little immersion I have. 4. Lastly the controls are weird, specifically the run control. Why do I have to click and hold down the left stick while also holding it forward to move? Why can’t I just toggle it like CoD? Anyway that’s my take on the game and I’d like to hear everyone else’s opinion on it.

Edit to add: possible spoiler cover to my reasons for anyone who hasn’t played but might want to.
