Everyone was dead on arrival at Covenant

Anyone showed up to Covenant for the first time in a playthrough to find the citizens dead?

I thought it was super strange when I arrived for the first time on my latest run and I saw the bodies of everyone in town scattered around. At first I saw a turret blown up. Then, two people outside, and multiple people dead inside the shop. Swanson was alive outside, along with Honest Dan and Brian inside. I searched the subreddit to see if anyone else experienced this and only found people hated Covenant because of all the bugs, I can see why.

I have done the questline in a previous run, so I'm not worried about that.

Super weird to show up and see dead bodies littered around. At least I didn't have to pickpocket anyone for keys and passwords.

Anyone else experience this?
