My first marstoy order and questions about moc accuracy

First I want to say that, overall, I am happy with my items and will definitely buy more from alt brick sellers like marstoy.

The purchasing and shipping experience was exactly as other posters here described, which was helpful because you do get nervous not hearing much of anything for most of the processing time. I ordered on Christmas Eve and the package arrived on 2/2. It was noted that this might be a longer processing time due to minifigs and moc sets.

The quality of the pieces fitting together is excellent. The build was pretty straightforward, but there were a couple of areas that I found it was easier to remove previously connected pieces to complete future steps as they got in the way and the instructions should have had me put these pieces in after.

The only thing I found odd (and the community can let me know if this kind of thing should be expected of moc) was that certain pieces were replaced with a different color of the same piece. And none of the printed pieces shown in the instructions or on the website image were actually printed. Or had stickers provided. Just blank versions of the pieces. (Computer screen, keyboard, and pizza slices)

The instructions do have a disclaimer that there aren’t any printed pieces or stickers included. And there are images that look like warnings that a couple of pieces are replaced by similar pieces.

I’m not going to complain about it. I have a ton of printed pizza pieces after buying all the minifigs which come with a pizza each. And the rest you wouldn’t really notice unless you knew what it was supposed to be. The only thing left is the bottom layer with the toxic goo. I’m left with a hole and the piece that is left doesn’t fit. But I’ll dig through my spare parts and find something to work here.

Are these kind of differences to be expected when buying alt brick sets? Or is it an moc thing? Thanks!
