I've been seeing a lot of punching left here the last few days and...

I would like to point out a few things for people here who might be getting swayed by it.

1) Leftist movements rely on solidarity. We don't have all the money but we have the people. By sowing division and infighting about tactics or debating the right and the wrong ways to fight back it only makes us weaker. Direct that energy to the people who are actively trying to crush us.

2) I get the impulse to correct the ways that the left is doing things wrong, but simply blaming other people who are 98% in agreement with you is not the way. People dig their heels in when they're getting blamed for fascism, and a sure fire way to turn them off to leftist movements is to make them seem unwelcoming.

3) finally, the most important one. Right wingers have a long history of getting involved in leftist spaces and stirring to pit. It's a good way to weaken the opponent, no offense to this sub as a whole but it is very vulnerable to right wing influence. Do yourself a favor and check out the age and post history on accounts you see on here punching to the left. Most of the time they're either less than a month old or have mostly posts about crypto currency.
