T480 Canva Performance

Has anyone else encountered performance issues when using the canva web app on their T480? It sometimes would just refuse to load up or be extremely laggy. Haven't tried the desktop app for a comparison test but shouldn't it be able to handle the web version easily since it pretty much surpasses recommended specs? I'm sure its not an internet problem as I've edited the same document on another device on the same network and it did fine. I use the i5-8350U model with 16gb ram for context.
